This privacy policy explains how Password Store handles information when you create an account and use the app.
Who is responsible for the service?
Password Store is operated by TestoManiacs (developer: Aleksi Koskinen). Privacy questions can be sent to aleksi@aleksikoskinen.fi.
What information do we process?
- Username used to create and access your account.
- Optional email address, used for password recovery when provided.
- Account and session information needed to keep the service working.
- Encrypted vault data needed to synchronise your entries between devices.
How is vault data protected?
Your vault is encrypted on your device before it is synchronised. Your master password is not sent to the server. The service stores encrypted vault data and cannot use it as readable passwords.
Why do we process the information?
We use account information to provide sign-in, synchronisation, password recovery and account deletion. We do not sell personal information and the app does not contain advertisements.
Storage and service providers
Data is hosted by Planeetta Internet Oy (Domainhotelli). Information is retained while your account is active, unless a longer retention period is required by law or needed to resolve security or abuse issues.
Deleting your account
You can delete your account and associated data from the app or through the external account deletion page.
